Electrician

Position Summary

Kwolyewm Services, LLC is seeking a Electrician to conduct testing, calibration, modification, maintenance, repair, and servicing of electrical and fire life safety infrastructure and facility support equipment. Installs electrical devices, wiring, and systems. Monitors and maintains safe operating condition of all electrical systems and related equipment. This job class requires knowledge of federal and state codes, laws and regulations regarding electrical and fire life safety installation, repair, and maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complies with National Electrical Code and company standards when wiring equipment, following all applicable safety policies and codes.
• Works standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring and electrical equipment.
• Uses a variety of electricians power and hand tools, measuring and testing instruments.
• Works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
• Installs, maintains and operates electrical systems, equipment, and appliances, such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, electric gate crossings, signals, switches, or other equipment.
• Records and reports inspections, repairs performed and equipment replaced.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required SkillsQualifications

* High School Diploma or GED * Ability to develop, read, understand, and interpret schematics and blueprints and to do standard computations. * Knowledge of NEC and electrical/wiring principles; building codes, local, state and federal regulations on electrical and fire life safety installation, repair, and maintenance. * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to act responsively to customer inquiries and requests; and to escalate the more difficult matters appropriately. * Ability to manage and accurately track material resources and time and adapt to changing work priorities. *...
