The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial and residential electrical work and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, safety procedures/protocols and building codes. This role involves working on construction, commercial, industrial and residential sites reading blueprints and ensuring that all electrical installations and/or repairs comply with the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

The job duties below include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for repairs, installation of electrical systems * Repair and install lighting and power distribution systems * Utilize ammeters and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues * Perform new construction and renovations * Perform electrical safety inspections/practices * Ensure work is done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and in a professional manner * Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor * Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required * Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work with other trades * Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions * Provide guidance on frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations/repairs when ne...
