What to Expect
Tesla is seeking an experienced electrician to join our Lathrop Self-Perform team.
What You'll Do
* Collaborate with the construction team to install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480v * Maintain and troubleshoot various electrical components * Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to plan, install, and improve electrical systems * Consult manuals and read project electrical drawings to perform and plan work scopes * Execute a wide variety of electrical tasks and provide timely feedback * Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic that reflects Tesla's mission and goals
What You'll Bring
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial or commercial electrician * High level understanding of the California Electrical Code and the ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics * Experience working on low voltage systems (data, fire alarm) up to 480v; medium voltage experience a plus * Ability to test and commission work according to Tesla standards and relevant building codes * Strong knowledge and implementation of work site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete a pre-task plan prior to starting work * Ability to work from heights up to 80ft. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record
