Electrical Technician

OVERVIEW

Electrical Technician performs work associated with but not limited to maintenance and electrical work.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to work in a Safety Conscious Work Environment and willing to identify any safety concerns
• Knowledge and experience in conducting maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs on pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, control and instrumentation equipment and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.
• Follow manufacturers’ guidelines on testing and maintaining plant equipment and identifying issues that may cause premature failures.
• Troubleshoot using testing equipment and meters to identify issues with medium and low voltage, Allen Bradley PLC’s, control and instrumentation equipment.
• Must be familiar with repairing, servicing, calibrating and installing process instrumentation. Including but not limited to level, temperature (RTD and thermocouple), flow, pressure, absolute pressure, and analytical transmitters.
• Must be familiar with repairing, servicing, calibrating and installing control valves and valve positioners, and current to air converters (4-20ma to 3-15psi).
