Position Summary

The Electrician Apprentice supports the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems related to swimming pools, spas, and outdoor living environments. This role is designed for individuals with 2+ years of electrical experience who want to expand their skills into specialized pool and outdoor electrical systems. This position works under the direction of a Lead Electrician and provides a clear path toward becoming a licensed and highly skilled pool electrician.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist with installation of electrical systems for: ○ Pool equipment (pumps, heaters, automation systems) ○ Outdoor lighting systems ○ Bonding and grounding systems ○ Control panels and subpanels ● Perform conduit runs (PVC and metal) for underground and exposed applications ● Assist with trenching, layout, and routing for electrical lines ● Support equipment hookups and system startups ● Participate in remodel and retrofit electrical work ● Read and interpret basic electrical plans and schematics ● Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision ● Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations ● Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites ● Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
