Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to assist licensed Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience and advancing their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with electrical installations and repairs.
• Pull wire, install conduit, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit using hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment under supervision.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and complete required training, if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an accredited Electrical Apprenticeship Program preferred.
• Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and safety practices.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
