Commercial Construction Electrician Foreman

Job Purpose

* The Foreman at Beckstrom Electric Co Master will oversee and manage electrical projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The Foreman will lead a team of electricians, coordinating tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of electricians on various projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to team members, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.
• Inspect and evaluate work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours, providing reports as needed.
• Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the course of a project.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any deficiencies.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, promoting a safe and productive work environment.

Required Education

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Proven track record of managing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
