Job Purpose

The Assembly Electrician is responsible for installing, routing, connecting, and testing electrical systems and components throughout the boat manufacturing process. This position ensures all electrical installations meet company quality standards, safety requirements, and engineering specifications while supporting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and route electrical wiring, harnesses, cables, and connections throughout boats during the assembly process.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Install and connect electrical components including batteries, switches, circuit breakers, fuse panels, pumps, lighting, navigation equipment, touchscreen displays, audio systems, and accessories.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to verify proper operation of all systems.
• Identify and correct wiring issues, faulty connections, and electrical component failures.
• Ensure electrical systems are installed according to company standards, ABYC regulations, and applicable marine industry requirements.
• Work within established production roll times while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure functionality, reliability, and overall quality.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other production team members to resolve installation issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
