We are seeking a motivated and skilled 2nd Class Marine Electrician to join our dynamic maritime team. Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of ship electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, calipers, and precision measuring instruments to complete repairs accurately.
  • Assist with rigging, fabrication, assembly, and installation of electrical components and mechanical systems on vessels.
  • Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members on engineering troubleshooting efforts and ensure compliance with Marine Mechanics standards and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven service technician experience in marine or heavy industrial environments with a focus on electrical systems maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical diagnostics techniques.
  • Experience working with military-grade or similar rugged environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to marine mechanics
