Job Description

Perform duties to troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain a wide variety of complex mechanical, electrical, building, and facilities systems.

• Work detail assigned via CMMS work order system and/or direction from supervision. Work from maintenance manuals, prints, work orders, wiring diagrams, schematics, codes, manuals and instructions:
• Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes. Perform variety of electrical tests, equipment disassembles and replace defective parts or connections. Reassemble equipment and test it.
• Install and modify equipment in accordance with local and plant code. Diagnose pneumatic, hydraulic, servo-controlled automation.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits as necessary, modify or prepare wiring diagrams to document changes.
• Test, repair and/or replace defective machine components and units, such as motors, clutches, valves, gear, belts, hoses or controls.
