01 Journeyman Electrician – Commercial & Residential Service

Arcline Electric is hiring a Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician to help with commercial service work, tenant improvements, remodels, residential service, EV chargers, panel work, and general electrical projects.

We are a new electrical company with a strong brand, a growing customer base, and a partnership with an established plumbing company. This is a ground-level opportunity for the right electrician who wants more than just another hourly job.

Because Arcline is still in its early growth stage, this is currently a W2 variable-hour position. Hours will depend on booked jobs, service calls, estimates, approved training, project workload, and company needs. There is no guaranteed minimum number of weekly hours at this stage.

As call volume and project volume increase, this role has the potential to grow into a more consistent full-time position with expanded responsibility, leadership opportunity, and long-term compensation growth.

Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician who is comfortable handling commercial work but can also support residential service and remodel projects when needed.

The ideal person can troubleshoot, communicate clearly, work clean, represent the company well, and help build strong field standards as Arcline grows.

This role may include commercial service calls, small tenant improvements, light commercial projects, residential troubleshooting, EV charger installs, panel upgrades, remodel wiring, lighting upgrades, and customer-facing service work.

Responsibilities

Perform commercial and residential electrical service work Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide clear recommendations Support tenant improvements, remodels, service calls, and small projects Install and repair outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, circuits, and devices Perform EV charger installations and EV-ready circuit work Support panel upgrades, service upgrades, subpanels, and related work Perform remodel rough-in, trim-out, and finish work Follow NEC, Washington electrical code, and company quality standards Communicate clearly with customers, office staff, ownership, and inspectors Provide accurate job notes, photos, material usage, and updates Help prepare estimates when assigned Maintain clean, safe, professional jobsites Represent Arcline professionally in homes, businesses, and job sites Coordinate with ownership, dispatch, inspectors, GCs, and other trades when needed

Ideal Candidate

Licensed Washington 01 electrician Commercial-capable and comfortable with residential/service work Reliable, professional, and self-directed Strong troubleshooting ability Clean, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable speaking with homeowners, business owners, property managers, and contractors Able to explain options clearly without pressuring customers Honest with time, materials, communication, and job status Capable of working independently Comfortable helping a young company grow Interested in building a long-term role, not just picking up hours

Requirements

Active Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician license Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Commercial service, tenant improvement, residential service, or remodel experience Strong troubleshooting ability Ability to work safely and professionally in occupied homes and businesses Ability to communicate clearly with customers and office staff Ability to document work with notes and photos Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
