Water/Wastewater Electrician

Major Job Duties

This key role requires a skilled and licensed Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems at water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout Kentucky. Pay range: $34.65-$45/hr ### What We Offer:

Primary Responsibilities

* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems at water and wastewater treatment plants * Wire and connect motors, pumps, control panels, and instrumentation systems * Support equipment installations and plant upgrades * Assist with electrical components of capital improvement projects * Diagnoses and repair electrical failures to minimize operational downtime * Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes * Travel throughout Kentucky to support multiple facility locations as needed

Qualifications

* Must be a licensed electrician in the state of Kentucky * Experience in industrial or utility electrical work required (water/wastewater experience preferred) * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams * Understanding of general construction practices * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Willingness and flexibility to travel within Kentucky

Working Conditions

* Ability to work in extreme weather conditions * Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 75 pounds * Exposure to potential hazards such as chemicals, fumes, and odors * Will work in confined spaces * Willingness to be on call in emergency situations
