SUMMARY

To ensure and support the timely completion of all maintenance projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the repair and/or installation of various items, systems and/or components as may be required for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working condition; which involves work as an Electrician at any building or structure.
• Install, repair, maintain, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in accordance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in buildings
• Install and configure electrical systems and equipment, such as lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and electrical panels, following manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Diagnose electrical systems using various devices to look for potential problems and be able to explain them to clients or industry professionals.
• Assist other maintenance personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities when approved by the Manager.
• Assist with the moving and set up of any chairs, tables, and stages as needed for school programs throughout the year.
• Install system component parts, classroom and office equipment and facility components as may be required for the purpose of maintaining facilities in a safe, comfortable and operating condition.
• Maintain tools and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment, in safe operating condition and to guard against breakage, theft, or loss.
• Maintain materials and inventory required for projects.
• Respond to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Operate all maintenance equipment in a safe and lawful manner.
