About this role

The Journeyman Electrician performs commercial electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and small‑project installations across a variety of commercial facilities. This role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician License and strong technical skill in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in active, occupied buildings. Compensation:* $33.00 - $40.00 per hour pending experience and active state electrical license. * Travel expenses paid * Vehicle provided * Fuel card

Travel

* On average 2–3-week sprints in Texas * Most projects are in Texas with some locations in nearby states. * Housing (Airbnb) is paid by company, travel to and from project is covered as well as per diem.

Duties / Expectations

* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills * Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision * Familiarity with commercial building systems, including lighting controls, switchgear, and distribution equipment * Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code * Perform NEC calculations * Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types * Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers * Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation * Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates * Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment * Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems * Read and interpret bl...
