JOB SUMMARY

The Service Technician position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This position must have the ability to layout and perform advanced electrical installations and troubleshooting in a service and special projects environment. The Service Technician position will be responsible for working either independently, as a member, or as a leader of a special projects team. This position will require frequent direct customer contact, requiring exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Valid Colorado (or reciprocal) JW or ME license.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Follows all safety protocols set by general contractor, owners, and Duro Electric as well as participates in morning stretches, weekly took box talks, and all safety stand downs.
• Proficiency in construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures in a service/special projects environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings as well as the ability to use industry-specific testing equipment.
• Ability to use industry-specific installation tools and has strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and ability to supervise one to ten employees is essential.
• Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
• Good oral and written skills are required to complete documentation, present information, and respond to questions from managers and customers.
