Plant Electrician

Accountabilities: * Diagnose malfunctioning (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) components required in an expeditious manner on equipment associated with a Preparation Plant * Maintain permissibility and repair malfunctioning and down equipment * Lock-out/tag-out equipment at power sources * Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities, preventive maintenance activities and work orders * Capable of reading and interpreting complex blue prints and electrical and hydraulic circuit’s schematics * Know the standard operating procedures for the installation of electrical power distribution boxes and systems * Know how to energize, de-energize and operate surface mining equipment * Knowledge of lubrication and service requirements * Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements: * Minimum 2 years surface maintenance experience * Ability to pass an electrical, mechanical and hydraulic test * PLC experience required

Certifications/Licenses: * WV/MSHA Surface Electrical Certification
