Mine Electrician

The mine electrician will perform electrical inspections and maintenance on all mine equipment including trucks, shovels, facilities, etc.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required

• MSHA low, medium and high voltage electrical certification required
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairs on all mining equipment
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.), SAP, and the willingness to learn associated plant and maintenance software applications
• Satisfactory performance and safety record
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate activities with other technicians, outside vendors and all other employees
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and capable of making decisions and solving problems
• Comply with Company drug and alcohol program
