Position Summary

Support all maintenance duties/electrical needs in an explosives production environment for your designated assigned area throughout the plant as needed or directed.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations
• Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values
• Proficiency in the installation and troubleshooting of electrical conduit and wiring for power, lighting and control system
• Capable of understanding and using all safety equipment, including arc flash, machinery and tools’ guards and PPE.
• Preform repair, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities on plant operating equipment and systems as needed or required.
• Capable of the safe and proper use of hand tools and portable powered tools
• Capable of working from heights using ladders, platforms, or man-lifts with proper PPE and Fall-Protection
