Job Description

As a Master Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for performing general upkeep on buildings' electrical systems. This entails inspecting the premises, performing routine maintenance and fixing any faulty wiring. Replacing electrical wires is necessary, so the ability to read blueprints and abide by the National Electric code is essential.

• Ability to utilize both mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, and lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics.
• Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
• Troubleshoot all type of equipment to determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
• Perform major electrical repairs and installations from 480-volt buss down to co-component level. Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.
• Test and repair all plant electrical facilities using devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
