Maintenance Trades - Electrician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support HUSD Vision, Mission and Goals. * Responsible for routine maintenance of electrical systems for district facilities. * Responsible for all repairs to electrical systems as needed. * Responsible for inventory of all equipment and supplies needed for maintenance and repair of these systems. * Inspects district systems on a regular basis to ensure systems are functioning properly. * Reports any damage or other maintenance issues to supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

* Five years of electrical experience preferred. * Journeyman’s License with Electrician license or equivalent experience preferred. * Knowledge of electrical codes. * Proficient in blueprints and schematics. * Proficient with electric water heaters, boilers, and recirculation systems. * Knowledge of hand and power tools. * Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). * Position requires physical demands like lifting and standing. * A valid driver's license and/or a CDL, if driving is required as part of your position description. The District shall be entitled to review your driving record periodically with the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles; * No convictions for felonies or crimes against children. * Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
