Shift available: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with rotating on-call responsibilities

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and electrical repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Maintenance Technician/Electrician Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain buildings.
• Perform electrical work as needed.
• Complete set-ups and tear down for scheduled campus activities.
• Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
• Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
• Conduct HVAC inspections and change filters as needed.
• Perform on call duties as needed/assigned.
• Ensure environment is safe and working properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician/Electrician Qualifications

• Have a valid driver's license
• Must have a journeyman's license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire date
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work from ladders
• Climb stairs
• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.

Minimum Work Experience

• 3 years’ experience in general maintenance
• 3 years’ experience in Electrical work
