Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is for the service and maintenance of park lighting, electrical and other systems at the direction of the Project Manager or in accordance with the assigned work orders. This position is responsible for servicing, repairing or recommending other electrical problems and systems observed throughout the district parks and facilities. This position may be required to assist in or be responsible for the installation, repair and service of all water lines, fountains, sewers, etc. and heating and cooling systems. This position may be responsible for the lay out, construction, installation and maintenance of the following: fencing, park signs, bleachers, tables, benches, cement and asphalt projects, roofing, sidewalks, park drives, parking lots, bikeways, structures, playground equipment, welding, truck driving, painting, lock and glass repairs throughout the district parks and facilities. This position will take direction from the Project Manager or designee and will be responsible for making sure that the work orders are fulfilled in accordance with General Maintenance and other applicable standards. This position may also be responsible for assigning and delegating responsibilities to Maintenance II’s and III’s in General Maintenance or others as assigned

• Responsible for installation, repair, replacement of all park lighting systems, poles, and other electrical systems in accordance with District standards and work orders.
