Job Description

  • Use basic hand and power tools safely (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, saws, pneumatic tools)
  • Perform general plantwide housekeeping duties including cleaning the floors.
  • Rebuild pumps/cylinders from supplied prints.
  • Perform Monthly Preventative Maintenance on production/facility equipment.
  • Use welding/cutting equipment (stick and/or mig, oxy-acetylene, Plasma cutter, grinders, etc.)
  • Bend conduit and run basic electrical circuits according to prints provided.
  • Use pipe threading equipment.
  • Troubleshoot/repair mechanical power train components. (conveyors, bearings, gears, gearboxes, and shafts)
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic symbols and prints.
  • Read PLC ladder logic symbols and instructions.

Preferred Candidates have successfully completed

MFT103 Industrial Robots & PLCs

IDM 210 Hydraulics & Pneumatics

Strongly Preferred Candidates have completed or are currently enrolled in

HAC 107 Electrical Controls and Circuitry

MFT 201 PLC Manufacturing Systems

Experience with Allen Bradley Micrologix, SLC 500, and RSLOGIX 500 is highly desired.

This is a union facility.

Pay ranges from $31.42-$40.00/hr depending on maintenance grade classification.
