Maint Electrician I

Position Summary

This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and mechanical maintenance.

Key Performance Areas (Essential Functions of the Position)

• Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Install, wire, and commission new equipment and system upgrades
• Diagnoses and repair electrical systems including motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and control panels
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components of machines and equipment.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems such as conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and bale processing equipment
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Support and troubleshoot automated and robotic equipment, including Fuji robotic systems
• Assist with basic robotic diagnostics, calibration, and routine maintenance
• Utilize CMMS to track work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
