Amteck Technologies is currently looking to hire a Technician II for our growing team in North Carolina. Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. Primary Role

The Technicians 2’s fundamental role is to work as part of a team to install, maintain, and repair cabling and devices for low voltage systems. They work under the direction of others to perform field work on and are required to install a quality product in compliance with contractual documents and all applicable codes and standards. Technician 2’s can perform their job duties independently and provide some training to others. Their work is subject to inspection while in progress and upon completion by the person they report to.

• Install maintain and repair devices and cabling of low voltage systems in commercial and industrial buildings

• Understand and adheres to BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for low voltage installations
