Lead Journeyperson - Foreman Electrician

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Lead Journeyperson / Foreman Electrician, you will lead our crews on commercial project sites throughout the DMV area, supervising day-to-day execution and developing the next generation of electricians on our team. You will manage materials, coordinate with subcontractors, train apprentices and journeypersons, and partner closely with the Director of Operations to deliver projects on schedule, in scope, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced electrician who takes pride in running a clean, efficient, code-compliant job site and developing strong teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Supervise job site activities, including materials management, team coordination, and quality control across all phases of each project.
• Review electrical drawings and project plans; assign duties to apprentices and journeypersons to optimize execution and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Train, mentor, and provide hands-on guidance to apprentices and newer journeypersons in electrical work, NEC application, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the project manager and estimator to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
