Electrician in a Nutshell

The electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings while supporting our HVAC needs. The electrician will also understand safety procedures involved with installation and is comfortable using hand tools.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems and fixtures in buildings
• Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables
• Ensures piping complies with electrical codes
• Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them
• Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building
• Knowledge of HVAC industry and corresponding equipment
• Diagnose issues, perform maintenance and repairs as well as recommend best solutions for our customers
• Must be able to install electrical hardware such as junction boxes and circuit breaker units
• Tests electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
• Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
• Replaces conduit and wiring as needed
• Complies with all safety standards and regulations of the National Electrical Code
• Supervise and train others in the installation and repair of electrical components
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must have a current Idaho Electrical Journeyman Card
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
