Position Overview

Veracity Electric

is seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installations, support project productivity, mentor apprentices, and maintain the highest standards of safety and workmanship. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial and industrial electrical work, capable of working independently, and committed to delivering quality results while upholding company values.

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will

• Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, power distribution, and other electrical systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, lighting systems, and alarm systems.
• Install and maintain electrical distribution and safety components, including switches, breakers, disconnects, and panels.
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks while ensuring compatibility and code compliance.
• Assemble and install conduit systems and route conductors through raceways.
• Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting, repairing, and replacing wiring and electrical components.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions, hazards, and system failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
