Journeyman Electrician

R.W. Mercer Electrical Contracting is looking for Licensed Journeyman Electricians that can work on their own under the general guidance of a Master Electrician. They are responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial electrical systems.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Knowledge of local electrical codes * Knowledge of electrical circuits * Ability to read and understand prints, schematics, and written reference material * Ability to focus on a job and complete the same in a timely manner * Ability to diagnose and resolve problems * Ability to guide and train Apprentice Electricians * Self-motivation * Takes control and oversees projects * Review projects with sales team/project managers * Ability to have flexible working hours * Respond to emergency calls as needed * Acquire proper materials to complete project * Maintain a clean, well-serviced and well-stocked vehicle * Attend a code review class every 3 years * Fill out work orders with time and material rates for billing purposes *...
