Journeyman Electrician

We are looking to hire a Journeyman electrician with 5 plus years in commercial electrical services. Our projects include tenant improvements, medical office improvements, industrial service, commercial service, residential service. This position will require a clean driving record.

This employee must have great troubleshooting skills .

The Journeyman Electrician reports directly to the project Foreman who coordinates work activity with the field crew.

The Journeyman Electrician is a field position performing a wide variety of hands on construction and installation work for electrical projects as assigned.Duties: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings - Renovate and upgrade existing electrical systems - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues - Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components - Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations - Provide guidance and training to apprentices

Qualifications: - Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification - Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components - Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation - Experience with high voltage systems is preferred - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
