Electrical Technician

Electricians are responsible for installing and/or repairing residential and commercial electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, and for keeping customers electrical systems running.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled and scheduled repairs of electrical systems throughout the day
• Installing new electrical systems and components
• Filling out of material order forms and ordering own material
• Completing projects as per specifications and dealing with changes in projects
• Proactively preparing for upcoming work
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company
• Exhibiting commitment to safety in the workplace

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid California Journeyman/Journeywoman Certification
• At least 3-5 years of electrical experience
• Troubleshooting ability, a plus
• Must be proficient with the use of hand power tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license & a good driving record.
