Journeyman Electrician

Position Summary

This opening is for an experienced Colorado Journeyman electrician with a great attitude. Grason electric is a company with a reputation for quality and service. We work primarily in Fort Collins and the surrounding areas. With us you will be putting your knowledge to the test and visiting sometimes multiple jobs in one day but mostly helping with one project at a time. You'll work with a team that wants you to succeed and will support you.

This opening is for an electrician with commercial tenant finish and custom residential wiring experience

You must be a detail oriented individual who is capable of keeping jobs moving on time.

Qualifications

• CO State Journeyman electrician in good standing
• Clean driving record and current drivers license
• Well rounded Electrician
• Experience with fire alarm systems preferred
• Experience in residential new construction and remodels
• Experience in residential and commercial service
• Experience in commercial tenant improvements
• Conduit bending and installation
• Wire pulling
• Terminating wire in panels, motor controls, devices and fixtures
• Scissor lift operation
• Panel upgrades and service changes
• Residential rewires
• Troubleshoot all types of electrical systems including arc fault devices
• Knowledge of residential wiring methods and all materials used
• Blueprint reading
• Clean background check and drug test
• Good attitude

Responsibilities

• Installing various types of electrical systems
• Focus on timelines, safety, quality, cleanliness and customer service
• Restock van and order parts
• Drive company van and operate company equipment
• Keep track of tools and materials
• Train apprentices
• Track job progress and fill out reports
• Continuing education
• Code compliance
