Journeyman Electrician - Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician and Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires expertise in commercial electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
• Ensure all work completed by you and your crew is in accordance with safety regulations and Raygen's standard of quality.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Familiarity with various types of electrical equipment and tools.
• Must excel at running EMT, PVC and MC Cable. Ability to run Rigid conduit a plus.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina for performing hands-on tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Should be capable of working at heights.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to run a small crew to perform a designated scope of work.
