Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in new construction or renovation projects.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference.
• Assist in training apprentices or junior electricians as needed to promote team development.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification recognized by the state or local authority.
• Proven experience working as a licensed electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues.
