Journeyman Electrician

Position: Journeyman Electrician — Lincoln (multiple openings) Company overview: Local, family-owned electrical contractor. Position summary: Seeking experienced Nebraska-licensed Journeyman Electricians to perform commercial electrical construction work on assigned projects from start to finish. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot systems, lead teams, ensure code compliance, and promote a safety-first culture. Key responsibilities: * Perform electrical construction work on commercial projects from start to finish

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical circuits, systems, and equipment issues

* Resolve escalated field issues professionally while maintaining customer satisfaction

* Collaborate with Field Support teams to keep projects on schedule

* Apply and enforce national and local electrical codes and stay current on industry changes

* Promote and model a safety-first culture on every job site

* Mentor, evaluate, and develop team members; provide hands-on guidance

Required qualifications: * Nebraska State Journeyman Electrician License required (reciprocal licenses from neighboring states accepted if legally eligible to work as a journeyman in Nebraska)

* 1–5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in electrical construction

* Commercial electrical experience strongly preferred

* Foreman/job-running experience is a plus (may affect pay and bonus potential)

* Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and OSHA safety standards

* Skilled with trade-related materials, equipment, installation methods, blueprint/drawing interpretation, and trade calculations

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints confidently

* Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

* Valid driver's license

* Ability to pass pre-employment screening
