Journeyman Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment within a fast-paced frozen food manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in supporting production uptime, food safety, and operational efficiency by ensuring electrical systems and controls operate safely and reliably. What You’ll Do

* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, production equipment, motors, drives, control panels, and automation systems.

* Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on facility electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.

* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues to minimize production downtime.

* Install, test, and repair wiring, conduit, breakers, sensors, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, and related electrical components.

* Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical manuals

* Support equipment installations, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

* Respond quickly to equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations to support uninterrupted plant operations.
