Atlantic Electrical Contractors is seeking a licensed Rhode Island Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team.

We are an electrical contractor with a focus on residential service and light commercial work throughout Rhode Island. We are looking for a professional individual with strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with customers, solves problems independently, and understands that quality workmanship and customer experience go hand in hand.

Compensation & Benefits

• $35–$45 per hour based on experience and qualifications
• Paid holidays
• Two weeks PTO
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Occasional weekend work as needed

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical service work and troubleshooting
• Complete residential remodeling and construction projects
• Perform electrical inspections and evaluations of residential properties
• Complete panel upgrades, service upgrades, lighting installations, and general electrical work
• Perform light commercial electrical work
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, vendors, and team members
• Clearly explain electrical problems, safety concerns, and recommended solutions to homeowners
• Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and project records
• Operate and maintain company vehicles in a safe and professional manner

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Journeyman Electrician License
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• High level of National Electrical Code knowledge and the ability to apply code requirements in the field
• Experience in residential service work, troubleshooting, renovations, residential construction, and light commercial electrical work preferred
