Journeyman Electrician

1 Resource Group is seeking skilled and dependable Journeyman Electricians for a project in Barstow, California. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial, industrial, or government construction projects and possess the required California certifications to perform electrical work within the state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components. * Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications. * Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, lighting systems, panels, switchgear, and related electrical equipment. * Perform testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions. * Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), California Electrical Code, project specifications, and safety requirements. * Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades to complete work efficiently. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Complete required documentation, reports, and daily work records. * Follow all OSHA, company, and client safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications* Minimum 4 years of electrical construction experience. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. * Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, materials, and equipment. * Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment installation. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
