$29.89 - $38.99 *The referenced pay range represents the first and last step pay rates for this job, as set forth in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Individual pay will be set in accordance with terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.*

Responsibilities

Installs, tests and repairs electric light and power distribution circuits and networks. Maintains both high and low voltage power systems, including control systems and communication systems, working from electrical layouts and wiring diagrams. Performs work in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION RECEIVED

Receives general supervision from departmental supervisor and/or Working Leader. SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION EXERCISED:May guide, direct and assist in training lower classified trades personnel.MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:Voltage-ohm meters, circuit testers, electrical lineman's hand tools, mechanic's hand tools, bench lathe, ammeter, test lamps, growler, precision electrical and mechanical gauges.
