Instrumentation & Electrical Technician - Upstream Operations - 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

Crimson Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support upstream oil and gas operations in Colorado. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience in automation and electrical systems.

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (Thursday through Wednesday), 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

What You'll Do

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, electrical, automation, and control systems within upstream oil and gas facilities.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, configure, and maintain PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, analyzers, and process control equipment.

Support production operations by responding to equipment failures and minimizing downtime.

Calibrate and maintain instrumentation and measurement equipment.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, and loop diagrams.

Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
