Job Description

Overview: We have an exciting opportunity as an Instrument and Control Electrical Technician to join our team! The successful candidate will maintain, Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical equipment and controls, electronic instrumentation, as well as integrated network communication systems at the Citizens Thermal Chilled Water plant. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining electrical distribution equipment operating at voltages up to 5kv; as well as, DCS, PLC, computer control systems and calibration / testing of process instrumentation.

Minimum Salary

$68,300 (Grade 8) Responsibilities: * Emergency repairs (including after hours and weekends). * Install, troubleshoot, test, calibrate, electric and electronic instrumentation and equipment, many associated with large capacity chiller units, and process controls. * Install, troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment and controls, such as variable speed drives, PLCs, motor control systems, and Foxboro DCS system. * Maintain electrical switchgear and other electrical distribution equipment up to and including 4160 volts. * Troubleshoot and maintain communication networks, including fiber optical and Ethernet based components. * Support customers and other groups as needed (Operations, Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, and Contractors). * Maintaining needed material and data to support electrical and electronic equipment.
