Industrial Electrician

The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical systems on production equipment. This role will ensure that all machinery is operating efficiently, with minimal downtime, to support production schedules and company goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing electrical problems in industrial equipment, following safety protocols, and working collaboratively with other maintenance and production teams.

The Industrial Electrician position pays $45.56/hour.

JOB DUTIES

Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components of production machinery and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and wiring Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure machinery uptime and optimal performance Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Install, upgrade, and modify electrical systems as necessary to improve machine performance or safety Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and solve complex equipment issues Follow safety guidelines and company protocols for lockout/tagout, electrical work, and equipment operation Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs, replacements, and maintenance performed Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment performance and reliability Assist in the planning and implementation of new equipment installations and modifications Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
