Industrial Electrical Technician

About the Role

As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational continuity of our manufacturing facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading complex electrical systems. You will serve as a technical expert, leveraging your expertise in high-voltage circuits and control systems to minimize downtime and enhance infrastructure reliability.

Responsibilities

* Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, MCCs, and busducts. * Perform rigorous inspections and testing of electrical components to proactively identify hazards and ensure system integrity. * Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to guide the layout and installation of industrial equipment. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to restore system functionality efficiently. * Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of critical power systems, including generators and UPS units. * Provide rapid response to emergency electrical situations, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel on-site. * Maintain precise service documentation and compliance records, adhering strictly to OSHA lock-out/tag-out protocols.

Qualifications

#### Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a trade or vocational program.
• Current Journeyman Electrician license with a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in high-voltage three-phase circuits, electrical theory, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs and working in varied positions.
