Join Eaton’s Mission Systems Division (IS AER MSD) in Orchard Park, NY and keep our production moving. You’ll arrive at 3:00 pm, hand off with the previous shift, and spend the evening safeguarding the electrical health of our facility and equipment until 11:00 pm.

A day in the life (3pm–11pm)

• Survey lines and critical systems; prioritize maintenance tickets and preventive tasks.
• Read and interpret maintenance specifications, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan work.
• Lay out, install, modify, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, communication and control systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose root causes and make repairs to production and facility systems to spec.
• Build and fabricate special-purpose assemblies for electrical measurement, control, and communications.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and process instrumentation; restore uptime safely and quickly.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and avoid failures.
• Document work performed; maintain accurate company records.
• Follow and promote all safety rules, lockout/tagout, and electrical code practices.
• Apply knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.

Schedule & pay

• Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm
• Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
• Compensation will vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and market/business factors.

Basic qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
