POSITION SUMMARY

As an Entry-Level Electrician with Facility Maintenance, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to our facility and marina. You will work alongside experienced electricians and be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring the facility's safe and efficient operation. You will also perform general facility maintenance duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment such as switches, circuits, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions, including the repair or replacement of defective or damaged electrical components.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify repair and replacement needs.
• Maintain and update maintenance records to track work performed and to aid in future repairs.
• Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of all maintenance and repair tasks.
• Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
