What You’ll Do

Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.

Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.

Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.

Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Operate electrical test equipment—including volt/ohm meters, amp probes, power analyzers, and insulation testers—while following established testing procedures and accurately documenting all results.

Maintain and repair electrical and electronic controls on complex systems, including HVAC equipment, variable speed controllers, lighting systems, and process equipment.

Complete all regulatory training prior to conducting work. Perform all work activities utilizing the appropriate procedures to include GMP/GLP, organizations, department or local requirements.
