Pay Rate: $35.25 – $39.68

Candidates who are selected will be eligible to qualify for the Sr Electronic Technician position, which offers a pay rate of $42.50

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the direction of the supervisor, an individual will be expected to troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, install, relocate or modify complex electrical equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Troubleshoot and repair, install or modify complicated relay logic systems, circuit breakers, fuses, transformers, motors, lighting systems, switches, bus ducts and high voltage power distribution systems.

2. Install hardware portion of programmable controllers. Troubleshoot hardware and program using the programming terminal.
