seeking an experienced and safety-focused Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high voltage electrical systems (typically 600V to 500kV) in utility, substation, power plant, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with energized systems, strong knowledge of the NEC and OSHA safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced field environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test high voltage cables, conductors, breakers, and transformers.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-lines, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Perform maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and protection/control systems.
• Execute grounding and bonding practices for high voltage installations.
• Work around live equipment while adhering to lockout/tagout and arc flash safety protocols.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Project Managers, and Engineers to ensure work is completed to spec and on schedule.
• Complete documentation for quality control and safety compliance.
• Train and mentor apprentices as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
