Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications Interpret construction documents, specifications, verbal and written instructions Work in restricted areas and possible at heights Ability to work on tight deadlines under pressure Perform as a self-starter and also a team player Demonstrate critical thinking skills with the capability to troubleshoot and make logical project minded decisions

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in all elements depending on job location and time of year Must be able to stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop, or drive for long periods of time Must physically be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs

Essential functions

Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment Set switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipment Measure, cut and bend conduit Trace out short circuits in wiring, along with troubleshooting other electrical issues Make minor electrical repairs Maintain tools and equipment Work closely with the QC Department, Master Electricians, Supervisors, and Plant Manager Lead individuals to allow learning and development Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures. Assist and support other production floor operations as required.
