Electrician

Responsibilities

* Provide hands-on electrical support in the areas of process controls, resolving common power system electrical issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis * Complete regular preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment according to established schedules and procedures * Use tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLC’s, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulations * Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment by running/connecting wires, construction panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E * P roactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution * 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience OR Associate ’ s Degree or higher in electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation or controls in lieu of experience Preferred Qualifications:

* E xperience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens) * E xperience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation * E xperience working with 480V systems Physical Requirements:
